Our Story

It all starts with a green coffee cherry on a tree to processed to a green coffee bean before roasting. Green Bean Caffè (Caffè is Italian for coffee) was established in 2016 in Ottawa by Michael Wiwchar as a post-retirement venture after his 41 year career in the Federal Government. What began as a sole proprietorship has now grown into Green Bean Caffè Corp. (GBCC), incorporated in May 2024.

Our mission is to provide top-quality Italian espresso machines; honest, trustworthy, professional, personalized service; premium Italian espresso blends, all while maintaining eco-friendly “Green” operations.

Our Growth

Since our inception, we have expanded through word of mouth without any electronic marketing, we now serve over 50 clients and dispense over 35,000 drinks a month. Our business predominantly serves auto dealerships, with our anchor client being the Myers Automotive Group. We also cater to small, medium, and large businesses of all kinds.

We are proud to be a small local business and we offer our clients an honest, personal, professional and friendly service.
